Business is a self-development journey, there is no doubt about it.
The story of your business is so closely related to your personal development. To your life. Where you are in your life, what you want from your life.
Not just your career.
I’ve started to notice that many people who are considering starting their own business aren’t really aware of what that takes in terms of pushing your personal, emotional and psychological boundaries.
I get it, it’s hard to know what to expect from the start.
So let’s explore this. What does it actually take to start your own business?
Have you ever thought that the online world might just have become a little too… ‘online’?
Everyone wants (or thinks they want) to build these mega businesses and serve thousands.
All of course while they sip a fancy cocktail with an umbrella in it on a beach somewhere.
Passive income. That’s where it’s at.
Or is it?
I think it isn’t.
“I need to be more visible! I need to be on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube, Tumblr, Instagram, what? You aren’t on Snapchat yet? Fail! Absolute fail!”

At least that’s what some people pitch at us in my experience!
You know, the palm-trees-on-endless-beaches kind of freedom.
But is that what freedom really is? And actually, is it what you are looking to get out of all this?
Let’s have a look at what it could really be about…
To answer this question we’re going to go on a journey from daydreaming about Mercedes, to a 2010 edition of ‘Science’ Journal then through Mark Twain to frogs!
Are you ready?
It all started when I was sitting around one morning thinking:
“uh… I really need to prepare some content for my webinar, But I don’t feel like it. Hmmm… I wonder what I can do to feel like it? Maybe I should go to mall and walk around a bit and look at stuff to get some inspiration. Or maybe I should go to the Mercedes Garage to have a look at AMGs to get excited about getting myself a new car? How can I get myself to feel like it”
But then I realised…
